Playa Hermosa of Puntarenas is world known for the amazing surf break. Surfers from around the globe come to surf these waves here. Foreigners & locals alike love this break as it’s a constant surf break, with huge swell! For the non-surfers out there we highly recommend swimming with caution as there are currents that can take you out into open water, and of course if you’re not carful you can get spun around in the wave break.
SURF LESSONS
Looking to learn how to surf? We offer lessons for all levels of experience, beginners to intermediate. For beginners we start the class in Jaco, 5 minutes north as the wave break in the south end of Jaco is smaller and a perfect break for learners.
